Brian L. Harvell has practiced for 28 years as a trial attorney. Brian has focused on the mechanics of trial and appellate work and practiced at all levels, from trial court to the Supreme Courts of Florida, Missouri, and the United States. Brian has represented clients in a wide range of complex, multimillion-dollar litigation, including claims for professional malpractice, truck and trailer collisions, product liability, construction defects, premises liability, bodily injury, property casualty losses, insurance liability, bad faith, commercial litigation, international child and parental kidnapping (Hague Convention), and eminent domain.
Brian graduated with honors from William Jewell College, near Kansas City, Missouri, in 1992, earning an interdisciplinary honors degree in Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science. The program was inspired by the methods of Oxford and Cambridge Universities and through it he spent his junior year at Cambridge University, England. In 1995, Brian obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, at Columbia.
Brian is admitted to practice in all Missouri and Florida State Courts, and the Southern and Middle Districts of the Federal Courts for Florida.
